As
professionals, we have developed a code or ethics
(Uniform Code of Compliance) concerning the use of
email Spam or mail bombing to contact physicians that
have expressed an interest in locating a new position.
- We will make every attempt
to contact only those persons that have submitted
their email address via phone, web sites, mail
or fax for the purpose of locating a practice
opportunity.
- The same email message
containing news about our organization or about
potential openings will only be sent one time
to an email address. To send the exact same message
to a recipient more than one time is considered
mail bombing and is against our UCC.
- A valid opt out will
be included in every email. The email recipient
can opt out at any time by clicking on the link
contained in the email message. Once this opt
out is activated, the email address is removed
from our database. In order for an email to be
added back into our database, the owner of the
email address must send an email message to one
of our member firms requesting "opt in". The email
requesting the opt in will become a permanent
part of our records.
