Mr. Swartz's experience includes senior management for specialists, multi-specialty groups and prominent health systems and associations. During his career, Mr. Swartz has developed strategy, provided regulatory advice; negotiated employment, ownership, medical coverage, and health plan agreements, improved revenue cycle performance and increased revenue.

Mr. Swartz served as associate director of policy development and managed care for the Health Insurance Association of America (HIAA - since merged into America's Health Insurance Plans, national trade association), and he also provided service in practice management, managed care and regulatory affairs during 7 years of service with The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. During this time, Mr. Swartz chaired the legislative committee of Maryland's Medical Group Management Association and increased its formal and informal regulatory influence and its professional recognition.

Mr. Swartz holds a Juris Doctorate and a Master of Public Administration-Health Care Administration degree from the University of Baltimore. He earned a B.A. with dual majors in health administration and political science from the University of Maryland. Gary Swartz is an active member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the Medical Group Management Association.
